Hope Now for Homeowners

If you are scared of losing your Wichita home, try not to worry. The truth is you are not alone and there is someone out there who is willing to help you. I am not talking about the President’s plan, either. I am talking about an organization of mortgage companies, investors, and counselors called Hope Now.

Hope Now aims to help those who are in danger of losing their homes. This group was formed with the encouragement of the Department of the Treasury and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Members of this organization are aware that we can only get out of this housing rut by working together and reaching out to those who need help the most. They offer free assistance to help you avoid foreclosure. Hope Now is the little ray of light that we have in these difficult times. Although Wichita may not have been hit badly as other parts of the country of the housing troubles, you’ll never know when you might need Hope Now’s help.

Hope Now offers many options to help homeowners keep their homes. One of these solutions is a repayment plan. Under this plan, your unpaid payments will be distributed over a period of time. The duration is usually no more than ten months. This way, your account becomes up to date within a set period of time. Another option is loan modification. This is done by changing one or more terms of the loan so that the homeowner can have a more affordable mortgage. Other options are explained in their website http://www.hopenow.com/.
